Refund policy

We accept return requests for eligible unused and new items within 21 days of delivery. Once a return request has been approved, the returned merchandise must be received by Hair Stop and Shop within 30 days of the delivery date. Please read the DISCLAIMER section below for exclusions and return requirements.

Customers may submit eligible return and cancellation requests through their customer account. To access your account, click the Account/Login link located at the top of our website.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

CANCELLATIONS

Customers may request cancellation of eligible orders through their customer account within 1 hour of placing the order. Due to the speed at which orders are processed and shipped, cancellation requests submitted after this period are not guaranteed and must be requested by contacting returns@hairstopandshop.com. Once an order has been processed, packed, or shipped, it may no longer be eligible for cancellation.

STEPS TO RETURN/EXCHANGE:

Step 1: Submit your return request within 21 days of delivery through your customer account. If more than 21 days have passed since delivery, please contact returns@hairstopandshop.com with your order/invoice number for assistance.

Step 2: Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, you will receive return instructions. If a Return Form is required, it must be completed and included with the returned merchandise.

Step 3: Carefully package all items and ship them to our facility. Approved returns must be received by Hair Stop and Shop within 30 days of the delivery date.

NOTE:

Please ensure all items are shipped in sturdy, secure boxes. All approved returns are subject to a standard 15% restocking fee. Items that arrive damaged, opened, worn, tampered with, or in incomplete packaging may be subject to additional deductions of up to 75% of the item's value or may be refused.

Step 4: Email your return tracking number to returns@hairstopandshop.com to help avoid delays in processing your return, exchange, or store credit request.

Step 5: Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your request and notify you by email. Please allow 4–6 business days from the date the returned item(s) are received at our facility for processing.

DISCLAIMER: Please read all information before starting a return.

  • To return a product, all tags, inserts, advertisements, hair nets, clips, cardboard packaging, plastic packaging, and all original components must be intact. Items returned without all original packaging and components may be subject to additional deductions of up to 75% of the item's value, or the return may be denied and returned to the customer.
  • Not eligible for returns: Items containing odors of any kind, including smoke, perfume, sprays, and hair products.
  • Unfortunately, due to hygiene concerns, we cannot accept returns of chemical items once they have been opened, particularly if they lack safety seals.
  • All approved returns are subject to a standard 15% restocking fee. Items returned in damaged, opened, worn, altered, incomplete, contaminated, or otherwise unacceptable condition may be subject to additional deductions of up to 75% of the item's value or may be denied, depending on the condition of the merchandise received.
  • If an item was initially shipped under a Free Shipping offer and the return is not due to our error or a verified manufacturer defect, the original shipping cost paid by Hair Stop and Shop will be deducted from the refund.
  • Sale, Clearance, Exclusive Offer, Massive Savings, Specials, and other products designated as Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • A refund minus applicable shipping charges will be issued for all Unclaimed, Return to Sender, or Insufficient Address packages.
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a verified manufacturer defect.
  • Hair texture, color, feel, personal preference, or suitability are not considered manufacturer defects and are subject to our Standard Return Policy.
  • In the event of a product defect or order error, a shipping concession may be provided after review of photos submitted to our Returns Department.
  • Tracking information is required for all returns to ensure delivery to our facility.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after the returned merchandise has been received, inspected, and approved.
